Stop your searching for an LED driver – these are the real deal.I have been in analysis paralysis mode for a few months now as I redesign our office space. I came across these drivers and was intrigued. A driver that looks solid, offers BOTH triac dimming and 0-10v dimming, and promises good performance… for cheap? Something didn’t add up, but the reviews were good.I cautiously ordered two for my new LED strip install. If you’re meticulous about LED dimming and performance, you know how difficult it is to find an LED bulb or driver that can truly dim down low. I’m very happy to say this driver does exactly that.I tested with both a Lutron RRD-PRO (Ra2 PRO dimmer) and Lutron 0-10v dimming pack (LMJ-5T-DV) and can report this driver performs smoothly with both types of dimming control. The low end dimming range is very surprisingly *slightly* better with the triac dimming – I was fully expecting the 0-10v dimming to perform better at the low end, but alas, the triac dimming actually smoothly dims all the way down to 0%. That said, with 0-10v dimming, you probably get dimming down to about 1%. The LEDs are still slightly lit and noticeable, but I can’t think of too many applications that will be upset about a tiny glow at the lowest dimming level with 0-10v dimming. The good news is: this driver is triac dimmable with excellent performance, which means you can probably just spec a triac dimmer and save a few bucks since 0-10v drivers can be pricey if you were considering 0-10v dimming for better performance. All in all, I am exceptionally happy with these drivers. I will be back to order more as my project continues to expand.
