After years of battling LED lighting issues in a custom project, my frustrations are finally over. My previous 24V LED driver caused constant humming and flickering, making the whole setup nearly unbearable. I even considered rewiring for 120V LED lighting, but then I discovered this 96W 24V Dimmable LED Driver—and it’s been a complete game-changer.
This driver solved all my dimming problems, with no buzzing or overheating, even with my two-pin reflector MR16 setup using Hyperikon 24V bulbs. I’m using a Lutron 120V wall dimmer switch with three 8-watt bulbs, and the dimming is incredibly smooth—going as low as 5%, far dimmer than the typical 40% most LEDs offer. It also works flawlessly with LED strips, providing smooth, flicker-free dimming.
The driver is compact and easy to install, and it comes in a junction box, which made the whole installation process much simpler compared to squeezing it into a tight outlet box. The build quality is solid, and it includes protection circuitry to prevent overloads and short circuits.
Overall, this is a fantastic solution that I highly recommend to anyone in need of a reliable, dimmable 24V LED driver.
I used a Lutron Caseta ELV+ Dimmer (PD-5NE) and it was fully compatible with this LED driver without having to adjust the trim at all. Dimming through the entire range was smooth and the driver did not whine or make any noise.
I appreciate that the driver comes in a junction box, its way easier than trying to shove it into a wall box. The Metal on the JBox is quite thin, I bent the LV side trying to get the knockout removed.
Works but it's smaller physically than I thought it was. That's not a bad thing, but it claims 60 watt,s but maybe that's not continuously? I don't know because I'm not an electronics wizmo.
What I do know is that we wired it up to undercabinet LED strips, and it works well. It does get warm but not hot.
I like that it comes in an electrical box, which makes things easier to mount in a place where someone might touch it.
The wires are fairly thin gauge,e but again, it works for us.
I recently ordered the 96W 24V Dimmable LED Driver and am pleased with the performance. My application is for two video doorbells and some accent lighting, so dimming was essential. The fact that it supports the major brands that produce dimmer switches is a hugh plus as well. I only want to use a single 24v driver that I could easily add devices or replace, if necessary, instead of having a driver on every device that I would have to hide in the wall or behind a bookshelf.
This 24V driver is a good solution for any indoor 24v application as its performance and reliability come at a very reasonable price. it is an electronic driver which is quieter, runs cooler, but a little less reliable than a magnetic driver however, I recommend it to anyone looking for a 24V power supply.
PROS:
• The build quality is excellent (so far)
• Great size (4.11” x 3.37” x 1.34” ) including the protective case so it’s easy to hide.
• Small driver size (2.99” x 1.37” x 1.02”) which is even easier to hide and will fit neatly into a 4-gang electrical box, mounted under a cabinet or closet, or behind 6” crown molding
• Quiet operation. Unlike other drivers, particular magnetic drivers, tend to hum or buzz, especially at lower dimming levels. This unit does not making it ideal for bedrooms and media rooms where quiet is most desired.
• No flickering or dimming issues, even at the lowest levels, and it keeps the brightness steady throughout the entire range. I tested it with Lutron dimmers with both LED strips and LED puck lights, and it worked flawlessly, giving smooth, flicker-free dimming.
• Protection circuitry to guard against overloads and short circuits giving peace of mind knowing it’s both safe and reliable putting in house in locations that you don’t see every day (inside cabinets, on top of crown molding, etc.) as many transformers can get very hot.
• Price
CONS:
• Inside use only, not suitable for outside, porches or garages
• Does not support standard five-option dimming (Triac, 0-10V, 1-10V, 10V PWM, and Potentiometer (RX). However, these are only used in commercial applications
• No instructions (just a nuisance)
• I didn’t order multiple units
A very easy five (5) stars for me and a good buy for both residential and commercial applications.
Note
Some manufactures use the terms transformer and driver interchangeably and while they perform very similar functions, transformers change AC voltage levels, while a driver regulates and supplies the precise current or voltage needed for devices like LEDs lights or motors.

The led driver is good quality. It is in a light weight metal box to enclose the connections. The design is good making it easy to install and wire. It has slots in the bottom to mount it and lots of knock outs on the side for wiring.
It functions well with the standard triac dimmer and led recessed lights. It dimmed smoothly to a low level without flickering.
The driver is a good value for the money.
